Although a mare is used to man she will feel very

vulnerable during delivery.

Most mares will seek rest and a quit place before she

will start delivery. It is very difficult to find out whether a mare is ready and delivery is more than often a complete surprise.

Guided by instinct each mare will turn on her side completely. In this position she is much more able to cope with the contractions and she has more control over the delivirey.

Our Birth alarm detects this movement and sends a signal to our mobile phone so we can be present during delivery to help mare and foul during delivery and after birth.
